Lost cat

Please please please can people check their sheds, garages, out buildings as Avril went out last night and hasn’t returned!! She is always back after 20mins or so; this is very unlike her. She’s small and very timid and will be very frightened!! Please message me if you spot her as she’s more than likely not going to come to anyone if they call her!

My eldest brother Reg Caunt worked at Briery Pit at the time of the disaster mentioned above. Local miners were inclined to say its name as “Briery” not Brierley. But readers would have to be in their 90s to know that.

We saw it today, my son was very interested in reading the information. They are lovely.
